This morning Carrie said something that made me respond with a "Hallelujah!" She looked at me funny and asked, "What did you call me?!... My name is NOT hallelujah! It's Carrie!".....
Then later as we were getting ready to re-do her horribly chipped toenail polish, she was trying to pick a color. She picked pink, and then asked if I could also do polka-dots (like I did last week). I told her, "Ehhh, polka-dots take a long time and are a lot of work. Let's just do a plain color this time."
She got a sad look on her face and with a little pout in her lips said, "Can we please just do polka-dots?.... I'd really appreciate it...."
Oh. My. Gosh.....
Yes. We can absolutely do polka-dots! And so I did...
We now have matching pink polka-dot toes (mine are still good from when I did them last week) I call them my "labor toes". I may as well feel pretty while I'm in the hospital :)
Anyways, if Carrie ever figures out the effect it has on us when she says cute things like this, we're gonna be in big trouble.... ;)

OMG, I can just hear her saying that too. How cute. Both your toes look very cute!!! Should you do Brigette's too so she'll match, that might be a tiny bit hard, her toenails will be itsy bitsy! LOL
So excited. I bet you can hardly sleep. OK, updates regularly please!!!!! I'll be anxiously awaiting my call!!!I'll be there with you in spirit and lots of excitement and prayers! Love you all.
For those who read this who might not know me very well, please know I desperately want to be there for every precious moment, but I also realize that I'm the mother in law and that daughters need their "moms" with them! It is very hard not to be there and have to wait, but I'm a big respector of wishes and only want to help in whatever way I can!!!
Congrats on a healthy baby girl! I found out this evening we have mutual Facebook friends. Arizona is so small. Anyways, I have been a silent follower for some time now and this evening I saw the picture of you and beautiful Brigette!!! So adorable. Huge Congrats!
