Well the Holidays are pretty much over and we got to spend a the last week with Justin's family in New Mexico. We had a blast playing games, hanging out and playing with our neice and nephews. I had a baby shower there and we got a lot of great stuff. Carrie will be a ridiculously well-dressed little girl!
Exciting news.... JUSTIN HAS A JOB!!!! He starts his internship over fan development with the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday. It's only 15-20 hours a week, but for now it's a foot in the door and a little bit of income. We're very very excited! We found out 2 days before Christmas, and what a wonderful present it was!
Since our last post, I've had two doctor's appointments and last week my belly measured a little small, but not too bad so we made an appointment for yesterday to do another ultrasound. The placenta looks "really bad" and her belly and leg measured in the 6th percentile. So we now have a referral to a high risk perinatologist to double check her growth. My doctor said they have more high-tech ultrasound equipment and more specialized doctors. From now on my weekly appointments will also include a non-stress test and an ultrasound. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow so technically she'll be term in 2 weeks. We'll see if they decide to induce me early or not. We'll definitely keep updating the blog on her/our progress!
