Carrie's Blessing

Today was Carrie's Blessing and we had a lot of family in town. Justin's parents came on Friday and took Carrie in their room Friday and Saturday nights so we could sleep all night. :) It was nice, but very weird to not have her with us.

Saturday night was Carrie's first time going to the movies. I was afraid a little because it would be "time" for her to be hungry during the middle. We brought some milk and when she started fidgeting (but not really waking up or making noise) I gave her the bottle and "topped her off". She took about an ounce and stayed asleep the whole time. We got lucky in two different ways - 1st, she's used to loud noises which was good because we went to see "Taken", a tense, scary, loud, action movie, and 2nd, she will drink her milk cold.

Justin gave Carrie a beautiful blessing this morning in our ward and we had a lot of family and friends that came. We went to our house afterward for sub sandwiches and cookies and a LOT of pictures. When everyone left, Carrie fell asleep on the floor with her hands up over her head. I think we exhausted her! We’re getting more “posed” pictures of her and her dress tonight. We’ll post them later :)

**Rooster (my brothers’ puppy) figured out where to find Carrie’s binkies… This picture was not posed, we found her like this…

That picture of Rooster is hilarious. I guess even dogs have comfort measures they need to take. Also, Carrie looks so beautiful in her dress. What an exciting and wonderful day for your family.

It was wonderful to be with all of you and enjoy this special day. Carrie is such a beautiful, sweet baby. We thoroughly keeping her with us, enjoying "being nana" all weekend. We love you! Love Nana
