I'm ready to admit it.... I love the Disney Channel.
We have our DVR set up to record Mickey Mouse Clubhouse every morning for Carrie. I don't know what we would do without Mickey Mouse. Especially on mornings when Carrie decides that 6am is a good time to wake up. *Insert Carrie laying on my bedroom floor watching an episode of Mickey Mouse HERE* Ahhhh, it's like a snooze button on my two-year-old.
Getting back to my point. If we don't watch any TV during the mid-morning, early-afternoon, when I finally click it on around 2:00, it's usually already on the Disney channel. Mid-afternoon Disney channel is filled with mindless tweenage comedy/dramas. And I love it. A couple of my favorites include:
(Which by the way, the two main character boys played Ross's young son "Ben" back in the days of "Friends")
Who doesn't like magic? I wish I was a wizard!
But finally there's this.......
When these movies started coming out 4 years ago, I laughed, I guffawed, I snickered at HSM lovers. But then I watched them.
I know they're extremely over done and ridiculous (and the music sounds strangely similar to the music from "Saturday's Warrior"), but I think it would have been fun to bust out in randomly coordinated song and dance in the cafeteria in high school. It's the cheesiness that makes them great! So laugh if you must, but don't knock it til you've tried it. I love it and I know I'm not the only one :)

The Crosby's are a Disney Channel family, too. Wizards is a very funny show actually. I do enjoy Suite Life as well. But, our absolute favorite is Phineas and Ferb; our kids LOVE that show. It's the one we DVR for them.
I also enjoy DC, because I have not once heard the Lord's name said in vain in any of their original shows. Ever. Even when I expected it to be said since it's such a common thing now. I think that's pretty cool.
Those are favorites at our house too. We always have 20 mickey mouse clubhouse episodes DVR'd for emeregencies. lol. AND we (yes Ty enjoys them too) enjoy the tween shows as well.:D Wizards is probably my favorite. ;D
Lucas Grabeel who is the guy who plays Ryan on high school musical is someone I graduated High school with for real he graduated the same year as me and I sat next to him in choir so it is so weird to see him on those movies. But yes we love the disney channel we watch it even when Madi isn't lol.
The twins from Suite Life are also the little boy in Big Daddy... I think! I could look it up, but I'm feeling lazy. The only reason I would want tv again is for the disney channel. I used to watch it regularly, but we haven't had tv for going 3.5 years. When I would get made fun of for watching the disney channel I would say it was the only channel worth watching because the shows were clean.
