WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!

A fun little story: Justin's family figured it out on their own so we didn't get to tell them in a fun way. We were on our family reunion trip when we found out. I had purposely not taken a pregnancy test with me to force myself to be patient and wait until we got home. It didn't work. Early Saturday morning, I got too antsy and said we needed to go to the store to get a test. We were all double parked so we needed to move Justin's sister Alysha's car. When she asked what we needed at the store, I guess I didn't fib well enough with "Ummmm, I'll tell you later".

As soon as we got back from the store, I took the test and it was positive, Hooray!! Immediately, when I went upstairs Alysha and Danielle called me over, cornered me and asked, "Are you pregnant?"... I couldn't lie..... So I told them. And I told Justin I had told them, so somehow when he was talking to his other sister, Brooke, he told her. And as Brooke put it, it was the elephant in the room. Somehow, nobody said anything, but EVERYBODY knew!

I swore them all to secrecy for two whole weeks though, so we could do THIS:

I wanted to do something fun to tell someone! I made a t-shirt for my dad for Father's Day from all the grandkids. Even the one they didn't know about yet. (See the tiniest handprint with a ? in it?) We had my whole family gathered and as he unwrapped the shirt, one by one we could tell by their faces who was figuring it out.

I'm due February 9th, 2012. (Which means right now I'm 6 1/2 weeks along) I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I know exactly how they calculate due dates. I'll bet myself $5 I'm right on....

We're so excited to have another little one coming into our family soon! And on a side note, I've been randomly asking Carrie for the past two weeks if this baby is a boy or a girl, brother or sister. Every time, she's answered girl/sister.... We'll see if she's right!
