Blah

Just so you all don't think I have an awesome day every day... Today is a blah day. Last night I couldn't get to sleep until after midnight (I went to bed at 9). Among other things I was thinking of Brigham and missing him terribly. I hate to admit, but it's 3pm and I'm still lounging in my pajamas. I'm being a bum today, but I feel like it's been building up lately and I deserve a bum day. My 20 day supply of memories are already fading and it makes me sad. Good thing I have a ton of pictures and journaling. A good friend of mine said that "through [my] blog, Carrie will know her little brother". I'm glad we have good friends.

I feel like nothing has been happening lately to blog about. I also feel bad about not posting any pictures recently. Maybe if I just bust out the camera, I'll find good stories to take pictures of and blog about. Until then...

A friend of mine told me the following:

"As soon as I let myself have bad days as I needed them, the number of good days increased."

Much love.

You definitely deserve to lounge around. I do it all the time and I don't even have a good excuse. By the way I love the swing set quote you made up. I feel like I want to visit you guys the next time we go down there, but I don't exactly know when that will be. If you ever are in our area, please let us know we'd be so happy to see you guys.

Sorry you had a blah day! Sounds like you needed to spend some time relaxing though! Hope you're sleeping better.

It must be something in the air...I'm missing my mom something awful and have had some seriously rough days this past week.
I sure hope that some good days are around the corner.
Also - I have several more pics of Miss Carrie. She seemed SO willing to "pose" for me, so I snapped away. I'll get them together and burn a CD for ya!

I just found your blog and read about Brigham. I'm so sorry. It just about broke my heart. And about Alana too. Whoever said times heals all wounds was wrong, but I do think that time dims the pain enough for us to move on. I miss our days of working in the Galley (even though it sucked, you made it bearable) and you talking me through things with Pieter. It will get better. Besides he will be yours forever.
